The World is Hugged by the
Faithful Arms of Volunteers
Let us not love with words but with actions and in truth. Each of us should use whatever gift we have received to serve others, as faithful stewards of God’s grace in its various forms. In everything show that by this kind of hard work we must help the weak, remembering the words, the Lord Jesus himself said: ‘It is more blessed to give than to receive.’” For we are God’s handiwork, created in Christ Jesus to do good works, which God prepared in advance for us to do.
Carry each other’s burdens, and in this way, you will fulfill the law of Christ. Therefore, as we have opportunity, let us do good to all people, especially to those who belong to the family of believers and if you spend yourselves in behalf of the hungry and satisfy the needs of the oppressed, then your light will rise in the darkness, and your night will become like the noonday. Whatever you do, work at it with all your heart, as working for the Lord, not for human masters.
