We are a Faith Base Mission, located in Decatur, Illinois

We are not a Homeless Shelter, Sober house, or Halfway House. We are a Faith Based Transitional House for Incarcerated Women from the IDOC Decatur Women's Prison Facility to parole out to. Safe Residential Housing where the Women can have their Physical and Spiritual needs met.  Zoe Transitional House promotes Reform, Recovery, and Restoration by having a dedicated support team, we can fulfill our:


  • Goal is to assist in stabilization, self-sufficiency, and family reunification.

  • Purpose is to mentor, teach and to be a support.

  • Mission is to disciple, helping one to continue to walk and grow in faith; and

  • Being an encourager when all hope is lost, and being the strength when one is weak

Do you feel the call to minister and mentor under privilege women?

Provide Oversight of a Women’s Transitional Living Home.

This is a meaningful job that directly impacts the lives of others every day!


This is a perfect position for someone who has another working position or someone who is in retirement.

You will be living in the residence with 4 to 5 Resident Non-Violent / Non-Sex Offender Parolees.


Decatur Correctional Center is a minimum-security prison for female inmates located in Decatur, Illinois.

Owned and operated by the Illinois Department of Corrections, this facility does not house sex offenders.


This position offers FREE SECURED ROOM, PRIVATE BATH & UTILITIES for the applicant.

Qualifications & Physical Demands:

  • Must be willing to live on the property

  • Do not own a home or live on a government assistance program (i.e., Section 8 etc.)

  • Do not have children residing with you

  • A valid driver's license

  • Good verbal communication skills

  • Able to do minimal paper work

  • Ability to obtain a First Aid/CPR certification and maintain certification

  • The Applicant must be able to lift and/or move up to 25 pounds.

  • Must have the ability to travel across, up and down a variety of surfaces (stairs, ramps, uneven terrain).
